giving up

pop tarts

they are my current weakness. I struggle with my weight a bit and hearing your ideas, along with some not so deep searching, its an easy first step...eliminate the pop tarts. I remember when this habit began..they stare at me through the glass, taunting, no, inviting me with their "good source of vitamins and minerals" claim. they are also a good source of too many calories and sugar.

How many calories? How much sugar?

Way to go. It is hard to give up your weakness. But, it shows how strong you are when you do it!

Good luck!!

eat more of those apples instead! They help keep you awake like coffee, and are good for you and keep you from starving. I know the weather sucks too, but I walk on my breaks and lunch, even if only for 10 minutes at a time. Stairs do wonders if just to go out and get a breath of fresh air to relax for a couple minutes as well. Thats how I stay sane at work...fresh air. Good luck Sarah, you can do it! We gave up all fast food and pop when Laurie had surgery and I have lost 20 lbs because of it and kept it off. :-)
